Chunichi Dragons by 2Well butter my biscuits, if it isn't the Tokyo Yakult Swallows squaring off against the Chunichi Dragons once again! I tell you, these two have been at each other's throats like a couple of bickering in-laws. The poor Swallows, though, they've been taking it on the chin against the Dragons, losing 4 of the last 5 matchups.
Season's been rougher on the Swallows than sunburn at the beach. With a 21-46 record, they're making me feel better about my high school dating life. The Dragons, on the other hand, may not have set the world on fire, but at least they’re keeping their heads above water with a 32-41 record.
However, if there’s a lifeline for the Swallows, it's their recent performance. They've been a tad feistier, even managing to catch some unsuspecting carp off-guard. The Dragons? Less lucky. They've been sliding down faster than a kid on a water slide, losing all their recent battles.
Regardless, if history has taught us anything, it's that the Swallows seem to have a knack for getting singed by the Dragons' fire. So, grab your popcorn, folks. It might be a tad painful for the Swallows.
