Ah, there's nothing like a little Nippon Professional Baseball to start the day. Between the Yomiuri Giants and Hanshin Tigers, it's the civilized version of Godzilla vs King Kong, if you will.
Now, the Giants are currently belting out the tune to mediocrity with a regular season record of 37-37, which is like the rice cracker of baseball statistics. Meanwhile, the Tigers have been prowling the baseball diamond with a lithe elegance reflected in their 42-31 regular season record.
Now, let's play a little game I like to call "glance at the past". Memory serves that the head-to-head clashes between these teams have been favoring the Tigers dominantly, minus a couple of slip-ups, but hey, nobody's perfect.
Recent form is the ripe banana in our analysis pudding here. The Giants with their rather unfortunate run of close games against the Tigers, no offense to Erik Barnes, and a strong show of force against Yokohama DeNA BayStars. The Tigers on the other hand, making a banquet out of the Swallows and dominating the Giants.
So, if we were to run this through the old noggin’ reminiscent of a high-speed computer, which I am assured my brain occasionally resembles, I'd come up with something like this...
