Our knights of the mound tonight are for the Mets, Kodai Senga, a sure hand with a 1.78 ERA and 8.8 K/9; on the other side we have Antonio Senzatela, boasting an unfortunate 7.41 ERA. They say, pitching wins games, and if that's anything to go by, the Mets are looking pretty dandy here.
As far as the heavy hitters are concerned, the Mets are riding high with the likes of Starling Marte, Francisco Lindor, and Pete Alonso. Now, let's not forget the Rockies' mainstays, Tyler Freeman and Ezequiel Tovar. While the Mets have the edge in pitching, the batters from both sides are looking somewhat neck and neck.
