We got the scorching Los Angeles Dodgers who'll be squaring off against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Dodgers look pretty cushy with an encouraging 38-25 standing this regular season, while the Cardinals are just hanging in there at a respectable 34-28.
Looking at each team's staff ace, this match should be fairly tantalizing. The Dodgers have decided to put their faith in Justin Wrobleski. Let's hope Justin's performance is nothing like his 8.00 ERA this season. On the flip side, though, we have the Cardinals taking a decidedly different route with veteran Sonny Gray and his somewhat more modest 3.69 ERA.
The Dodgers' hitting lineup claims some dynamite names like the formidable Hyseong Kim and the explosive Freddie Freeman. Don't forget the "One and Only" Shohei Ohtani and regular season's bad boy Max Muncy. These boys have racked up some enviable stats this regular season. And let's not forget the Cardinals' hitters. Alec Burleson made quite an impact last month while Ivan Herrera's bat was on fire. Nolan Arenado, however, better start swinging if he intends to keep up with that 0.191 average.
