Rutgers Scarlet Knights by 6
Well, isn't this a humdinger, we got UCLA Bruins trotting over to the Rutgers Scarlet Knights' field for what's promising to be... well, let's just call it a game, shall we?
Brass tacks. The Bruins' quarterback situation is like a choice between bad and worse: Ethan Garbers, with a passing efficiency of 118.8, 3 TDs, and a whopping 7 interceptions. Justyn Martin slings the pigskin with a slightly more decent 121.0 passing efficiency and, thank heavens, zero interceptions.
Now let's scuttle over to the Rutgers. Their QB, Athan Kaliakmanis, isn't exactly Mr. Incredible with a passing efficiency of 96.7 and 3 interceptions. Never thought I'd see the day when Garbers gets a compliment on his passing efficiency, huh!
Offensive-wise, the Bruins are working with Tomarion Harden, who's managed 339 total yards and a touchdown over the last month. Logan Loya and Keegan Jones aren't chumps either. Rutgers, in contrast, has Kyle Monangai as their front-runner with 394 total yards and 3 touchdowns, with Dymere Miller and Samuel Brown doing their part.
Defense, the one thing we pretend to care about. The Bruins have somewhat of a mild presence with Carson Schwesinger getting his mitts on 13 tackles and a pair of sacks. Rutgers' Dariel Djabome though, he's a creature of nightmares, racking up 27 tackles, a sack, and a couple of forced fumbles!
Looking at the landscape of this upcoming clash, it's safe to say the Bruins might have bitten off a little more than they can chew here. The regular season wasn't their friend and recent results just have them coming up short. Rutgers, notwithstanding some stumbles, seem to have a more consistent record. So, let's quit our chit chat, shall we?
