Houston Rockets by 2Look at this match folks, we have the Houston Rockets visiting the Indiana Pacers. Quite the game we are all lined up for; makes me wish I took up knitting instead so I wouldn't have to watch these two go at it.
On one hand, you have the Houston Rockets, a team featuring the talents of Alperen Sengun and Jalen Green. Sengun, an absolute beast on the board, hasn't seen a rebound he didn't like, with 10.6 on average per game this season. And Green, scoring every time he decides to blink with a whopping 21.6 points per game for the season. A couple of decent hounds, chasing every bone on the court.
And then, on the other hand, you've got the home team, the Pacers. Led by Tyrese Haliburton and giggles...Pascal Siakam. Haliburton's making quite the splash with his delightful average of 18.4 points and dishing out 8.8 assists per game this season. While Pascal 'Sleepy' Siakam manages to somehow trick the ball into the basket for an average of 20.6 points per game. They ain't half bad, I'd say.
Past matchups between these teams have been neck and neck, each trying to outdo the other in 'who cares less'. It's close, but surprisingly the Rockets have shown a bit more spunk, but then again, that could just be gas.
The regular season records show the Rockets gyrating at a comfortable 37-24 dance, while the Pacers' moves are a bit sketchy at 34-25. Of course, that could all change if their mamas gave them the right pep talk or something.
When it comes to recent performances, both teams haven't exactly set the world on fire. Rockets have had their share of fizzles, with a loss to Oklahoma City, while Pacers got their shorts in a twist against Miami. But hey, at least they are consistently inconsistent.
