The Warriors look spicy, guided by the unfaltering hands of Stephen Curry who's been clocking up 29.7 PPG in the last month, he's about as reliable as a Swiss watch. And let's not forget Andrew Wiggins. Turning it on this past month with 25 PPG. We might not talk about the weather folks, but Wiggins looks like he's bringing a storm to Brooklyn.
Moving onto the Nets, Cam Thomas has been making waves with 20 PPG last month, but those are comparably smaller waves to Curry's tsunami. And then there's Cameron Johnson with 16.9 PPG last month. Now he might be no John Cameron Swayze, but he's keeping his game ticking.
Past skirmishes between these two show mixed results, often with just a whisker between them. The most recent game in 2024 saw the Nets edge out Warriors by 8 points.
I've seen happier season records at a badger cull, especially for the Nets with 21-40. Warriors are a little breezier with 34-28. Lately, the Warriors have been chalk up some wins while the Nets are looking rockier than Stallone on a mountain.
In the grander scheme, the Warriors are poached eggs on toast at number 6 in the Western Conference, while the Nets haven't managed to crack into the top 10 of the Eastern, curdled away at number 11.
