Ah, always interesting to see a seeded player like Andrey Rublev going up against an underdog such as Lloyd Harris. Taking a peek at their past matchups, Rublev seems to have gotten the best of Harris with a score of 3 love to 1. Not exactly a walk in the park for Rublev, mind you. Seems like Harris is quite capable of biting back.
Speaking of Harris, he's been on a pretty impressive streak recently. Despite taking that loss to Rublev, he's been handling business like a well-oiled machine against the likes of Bergs, Čilić, Virtanen, and Hüsler. Not too shabby.
Rublev, on the other hand, has had a few stumbles. Nothing too embarrassing, but it's as if the chap has one foot on a banana peel with losses to Etcheverry and Sinner. Had a couple of easy wins, sure, but will he be able to maintain consistency when it matters? We'll have to wait and find out.
Taking all this into account, along with Rublev's number 14 seed, I'm thinking our Russian friend might have a bit of an edge. Harris might surprise us, but considering everything, an easy walkover for Harris seems doubtful.
Albert’s Prediction: Rublev in 4 sets.
