My Prediction
Yomiuri Giants by 2If sports wet your whistle, then this Hanshin Tigers and Yomiuri Giants matchup gives you a humdinger. Now I do love a good underdog story, but let's not kid ourselves here. The Yomiuri Giants are grippin' and rippin' it with a slightly better track record this season. I'm aware the Tigers have more wins on paper from previous skirmishes between the two, but remember...life's not just about history. The Giants have been on an impressive rampage recently, not dropping a game in their last five.
On the other hand, the Tigers have been a bit more inconsistent, losing two of their last five games and even allowing a draw to sneak into their record. Their performance has been as predictable as my aunt's fruitcake recipe...and trust me, that's not a compliment.
So, as much as I enjoy rooting for the little guy, I'm going to have to side with the facts on this one.
