Hanshin Tigers by 2I do appreciate a feisty game of baseball, and this matchup between the Tokyo Yakult Swallows and Hanshin Tigers is looking to be one such heat-hot encounter. Right off the bat, I'm seeing a were-tiger in the room. Hanshin Tigers are enjoying a far superior season so far and the Tokyo Yakult Swallows are... well... let's just say they're not quite soaring as high as they'd like.
Looking at their head-to-head, the Hanshin Tigers have an edge there too, having bested the Tokyo boys in three of their past five encounters. It's like they've got their number or something. Dial 1-800 Tigers, am I right?
The Swallows haven't exactly been impressing anyone recently either, let’s be honest. With only one win in the last five games, they wouldn't even impress my nan and she once applauded me for successfully making toast.
Over on the Tigers' turf, things are looking a bit more mixed. Two wins, two losses, and a draw in the last five matches, it's like watching a ballet dancer with a sprained ankle; not so elegant, isn't it? However, the critical point is that both their recent wins were against our rather feather-ruffled Swallows. It's not looking good for our Tokyo friends.
