Svitolina in straight sets.Let's dunk our heads right into this exciting matchup! We've got Anna "Barracuda" Bondar, the unseeded underdog from Hungary, squaring off against the eloquent Elina Svitolina, a well-seasoned pro, clocking in as the 14th seed.
Now, Bondar's been showing some teeth in recent matchups, but she's had a couple of rough spills. A recent chomp by Birrell, for instance, put her on the ropes. Despite such setbacks, she's stayed in the game, scoring a swift 2-set win over Megan Knight.
On the other hand, Svitolina defies easy description. With a 14th seed shining beside her name, she's not one to mess around.
