Ah, tennis, the noblest of sports, where we have Maya Joint facing off against Alexandra Eala in the Eastbourne International Finals. Now don't get me wrong, Eala has been showing some good form lately. She knocked over Gracheva and Yastremska just last week, showing no love for her opponents. But she also took a stumble against Ostapenko on that damned June 25th. A bit inconsistent, one could say.
Joint, on the other hand, has been nailing it on court like a seasoned carpenter, showing both Pavlyuchenkova and Blinková that love is a battlefield where she's the commanding general. She did have a bit of a hiccup against Sasnovich earlier in June. But hey, a little stumble just makes the climb to victory sweeter, wouldn't you all agree?
And let's not forget both these ladies have been unseeded in this tournament, breaking hearts and presumably fine tennis rackets along the way. However, based on their recent performances and the way they’ve been approaching the tournament, looks like we're going to see some love-heavy games.
Albert's Prediction: Joint in 3 sets.
