Nebraska Cornhuskers by 8
Apologies in advance to our Hawkeye loyalists out there, but this contest has the scent of Cornhusker domination. You do the math, or rather, let me do it for you.
The Nebraska Cornhuskers are tipping the court in their favor, and the past tells us that the Iowa Hawkeyes are going to need far more than the grit and determination they've exhibited with their 15-15 record in the regular season. Most notably, in their last few dance-offs, the Cornhuskers have proved that they're having a ball in the pressure cooker, with stronger recent results.
Consider for a moment the dynamic dynamo that is Brice Williams with an average of 24.6 points over the last month, backed up by the athletic acumen of Juwan Gary. Now those are numbers that make statisticians and bettors alike hum with admiration, folks.
The Iowa symphony isn't playing without sheet music, however, with Payton Sandfort as their leading maestro with last month's stats presenting an admirable 15.5 points per game. Josh Dix and Brock Harding also bring harmony to the court, but alas, it's a song of persistence rather than dominance.
Unless there's some sort of seismic shift in trends, or perhaps the Cornhuskers have collectively decided to play the game blindfolded, it's seems pretty clear who holds the advantage. But, hey, stranger things have happened, right? *cue skeptical eyebrow raise*
