My Prediction
Missouri Tigers by 5And here we are in the stadium, breathing in the beautiful acrimony between Kentucky Wildcats and the Missouri Tigers. This one's going to be a nail-biter, just so you know. Kentucky Wildcats is showing off their claws with the likes of Amari Williams, who's been hammering out 12.2 points per game in the last month. Also, let's not forget Otega Oweh and his 16.9 point average per game that might be the chink in Missouri's armor.
However, the Tigers are not just some docile, overweight IKEA tabbies. No, sir. These cats are armed for the battle. Mark Mitchell and his 17.1 points per game and Caleb Grill, who's been tossing 16.6 points per game, are proof positive.
Past battles between these two have been interesting, with the Wildcats clawing out a 13-point win last time they met. But that was in a different year, in a different mood. This season, the Missouri Tigers have had the edge in terms of results with 21 wins, compared to Kentucky's 20.
Recently though, the Wildcats were resuscitated with their fresh trouncing of the LSU Tigers 95 to 64, while the Tigers took a bit of a bruising from the Oklahoma Sooners, losing 96 to 84. So, does this game mark the beginning of a trend reversal? It's as probable as a cat barking.
Analyzing the numbers, then drinking a cup of coffee, then analyzing some more - it seems as though this game might be won more by sweat and luck than by ranking or history. So, before I use up all the cat puns in existence, let's claw right into the prediction.
