Los Angeles Dodgers by 3Listen up. Here we have a thrilling match-up between the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Giants are rolling into Dodger Stadium to face off with LA's star-studded lineup. Now, that's a plot!
San Francisco is sending out their secret weapon Kyle Harrison. This guy has an ERA of 4.66 and a WHIP of 1.25, not to mention he's striking out a few folks and has made 8 appearances this season. But LA is not to be outdone. They have Dustin May on the mound, who's rocking a 4.53 ERA and a WHIP of 1.31. The boy's been in the fight 12 times this season.
The Giants have got Dominic Smith hitting .364, Heliot Ramos, and Wilmer Flores in their corner. They’re not the highest fliers in the league, but they can hold their own. But then there's the Dodgers. Oh boy, do they have some heavy hitters. All eyes are on Hyseong Kim with a .422 batting average, Max Muncy, and Shohei Ohtani, who has clocked in 13 home runs this season. That has to bring a smile to your face. Or a frown if you're pitching against him.
The two teams have had a fair bit of experience with each other in the past. Their most recent match-ups saw a mix of wins on both sides, making this game all the more exciting.
Both teams have a solid 41-29 record for the season, proving they are evenly-matched on the field. But we all know the game isn't just about records, and recent results can tell an unexpected story.
