Detroit Tigers by 3I hope you didn't wear your favorite socks today because this matchup might just knock them off. It's the Cincinnati Reds and the Detroit Tigers trading blows on the Tigers' turf at Comerica Park. And before you ask, no, high-fliers, we're not playing Quidditch. This park tends to favor those with the golden arm rather than the silver sluggers.
Let's take a look at the men on the mound first. For the Reds, we have Wade Miley. Wade's been dancing with a whopping 9.00 ERA this season from just two outings. Pair that with a rather sad story of a strikeout rate, and he's looking more like Wobbly Wade than World-class Wade.
The Tigers are throwing in Sawyer Gipson-Long. Despite the long name, he's kept things rather short and sweet with a solid 4.86 ERA, and he's not afraid to send batters back to the dugout with a nice K/9 rate.
From the roster, the Reds are boasting some mighty fine players. One can't ignore TJ Friedl, swinging a hot .330 average. Elly De La Cruz isn't far behind either, launching 8 homers while collecting 17 ribbies - that's RBIs to you newbies.
Over on the other side, the Tigers aren't playing around either. Young gun Riley Greene has been shipping in the runs and Dillon Dingler - yes, you heard that name right - isn't more than a whisker behind him in average and has put 3 balls over the fence to boot.

The Tigers have also been a bit feistier this season, sitting pretty with a solid advantage in their win-loss column. But, if the recent form is anything to go by, the Reds are huffing and puffing, ready to knock over the Tigers' win streak.
