Ortiz appears to have the better knuckle game when it comes to clocking up strikeouts, but Soriano's comparatively lower ERA could give the Angels an edge.
On paper, Cleveland's got a presence in José Ramirez and Carlos Santana, who've been graced by the sweet lady of batting averages, making Cleveland's chances here more than mere whispers. The Angels, on the other hand, haven't been dealt the best hand, despite having formidable players like Zachary Neto and Taylor Ward in the roster.
The Angels have had a bit of a messy time recently, facing defeat more often than they would have liked. Conversely, the Guardians weathered some rough patches to come out on top in their recent matchups.
