Alexandrova in straight sets. Don't shoot the messenger.Now strap in folks, this match promises to deliver some high octane entertainment. On one side, we've got the seasoned warrior, 18th seed Natalia Alexandrova. She comes in with a mix of victories and losses, but her triumph over Sakkari M and Bencic B suggests that she's certainly one to watch.
But keeping her on her toes is Priscilla Hon. Although unseeded, Hon's recent victories speak for themselves. Sure, one might argue about the caliber of opponents she has faced, but the lady has shown resilience, and there is no denying that. However, to say she's under the weather would be an understatement. Her performance against the formidable Ekaterina Alexandrova might need a little more than luck.
Also, consider the fact that when it comes to grass courts, Alexandrova's been around the block. Although our Australian lass, Hon, has home advantage, Alexandrova's long strides and powerful groundstrokes are quite a sight on the turf.
