Let's dive straight into the fray, shall we? The Chunichi Dragons are prancing into the den of the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles with a bit more shine on their scales. They've been spitting fire recently; after all, the proof is in the pudding! Even though the Dragons are barely skating above .500 for the season, they've been sharpening their claws with their recent wins. Let's not forget the smackdown they handed to the Golden Eagles just a few nights ago.
Now, the Golden Eagles look like they are carrying a bit of a hangover from their last encounter with the Dragons. Their feathers have been visibly ruffled in recent matches, and it's showing in the losses piling up. It's certainly not the best point in their season, with a sub-par win-loss ratio.
