Hanshin Tigers by 4Oh, I just can't believe what I'm seeing on the slash sheet today. We've got the Hanshin Tigers paying a visit to the Saitama Seibu Lions and, if recent history is any indication, those Lions might want to consider calling in sick. I mean, really, the last time these two teams clashed, the Tigers got their paws on the game and never let go. Tigers showing dominance as they slapped the Lions with losses thrice over in the month of June 2024. The most minimal of mercies given as they allowed Lions just 2 runs whilst racking up 12 of their own over those three games. That's not a contest, that's a cat playing with a ball of yarn!
Look at the Tigers compared to the Lions, with those regular season records. A 35-21 win-loss ratio for the Tigers has them purring with satisfaction whereas the Lions are at a barely break-even 29-27. That's like comparing a sports car to a tricycle. No guessing who's going to get where faster in that scenario!
And what's this? The Tigers have shown they're in beast mode recently as they've been raining down runs like a slushie machine out of control. Just check out that last game against the Orix Buffaloes, an 8-1 trouncing! Glancing at the Lions recent outcomes ain't for the faint-hearted. Losing 10-0 to the Hiroshima Carp? Yowza, that's gotta sting!
