In this case, strap yourself in folks. We've got a real clash of titans here with unseeded Cameron Norrie going up against the 26th seed, Jiri Lehecka. Norrie does have a few good games under his belt, most recently pulling out a win against Landaluce - a tough one, but he managed it, two sets to one. But there's a catch, his consistency could use a bit of work. Too much of a rollercoaster for my taste.
On the other side of the net, we have Jiri Lehecka, who does seem to be favored if you read between the lines. He had some troubles recently though, falling to Musetti and Monfils. However, the chap definitely has some punch to his serve. And don't forget, he's been swinging his racket to the tune of the 26th seed.
Historically, these two have had a see-saw sort of relationship. Cameron takes a round; Jiri takes a round. However, in their latest matchup, Norrie edged out Lehecka, which is a bit like flipping a coin and hoping for heads twice in a row.
Given the recent days, the sly fox in me points towards Lehecka. Sure, Norrie might have a puncher's chance, but Lehecka has a bit more wind in his sails and that seed isn't for show. Lehecka was favored in this matchup right from the start, and while I love a good underdog story, I don't see Norrie turning the tables this time.
Albert’s Prediction: Lehecka in 3 sets
