Hurkacz in 3 sets
Surely it's no secret that when Benjamin Bonzi goes racket-to-racket with Hubert Hurkacz, it's like setting up a jigsaw puzzle, only to find out the box was missing a few pieces. No doubt about it, Bonzi is a feisty competitor, having recently shown Čilić M. the futility of his racquet skills with a swift 2-0 set win.
However, modern tennis isn't all about spectacular one-off victories, and let's not forget that Bonzi has been slugged with four losses prior to his recent win. It's like he was on a long mountainous hike, enjoying the peak, but forgetting about all the valleys.
On the other hand, we have Hurkacz. Ranked 27th and showing a shimmer of consistency lately. It's not all rainbows and butterflies, though. His recent match history displays a rocky terrain, losing to formidable opponents like de Minaur A. and Alcaraz C. But let's give Hurkacz his deserved props.
