Zverev in straight sets.If we're being brutally honest, I pity the Nureyev who thinks Bautista Agut is going to pull this one out of the bag. I mean honestly, Zverev might as well leap over the tennis net on a unicycle for all the difference it would make to this match.
Our boy Alexander knocked poor Roberto all the way back to Spain the last time they faced off. And with Bautista Agut unseeded in the tournament, this isn’t exactly the narrative of an underdog triumph, more like a staged skit with Zverev holdin' court. And look at Zverev’s recent record, he’s sweepin' through the tournament like a hot knife through butter, not even breaking a sweat.
Conversely, poor Roberto's been having a tough time of it lately. He's a good player, sure, but it's clear he left his magic tennis pixie dust at home. He's been hovering on the wrong end of a few surprise sets and it doesn't look like anything more promising is on the horizon.
Considering Zverev’s been used to giving his opponents a jolly good seeing to, it'll most likely be a quick cut and dry affair. No fuss, no muss.
