Popyrin in straight sets.Well, the battlefield is about to get heated up with this upcoming clash between Alexei Popyrin and Alexander Bublik in the round of 64 matchup of the Mutua Madrid Open.
When we examine recent results, we see that Bublik has been, well, to put it kindly, inconsistent - like a jug of milk left out in the sun on a hot summer day, you're just not sure what you're going to get. His performance is up and down, defeating Michelsen and Dedura-Palomero in love, but also falling to Bergs and Lajović. And we know that tennis isn't a game of roller coasters, inconsistency might as well be our fellow Bublik's middle name.
