My Prediction
Anaheim Ducks by 2
Glorious day for hockey as the San Jose Sharks swim up to Anaheim to duke it out with the Ducks. Now let's siphon off the froth and get down to the hard facts.

Sharks's netminders, Alexandar Georgiev and Georgi Romanov, have been good, no doubt about it. Georgiev's been particularly impressive this season, boasting 1017 saves, but let's be honest here, the Ducks' Lukas Dostal and John Gibson are making it look like child's play. Gibson, with an astounding 96.8% this season, has been packing a punch that would make even Mike Tyson think twice.

I'm not one to bellyache over individual stats, but when we take a look at the Sharks' frontliners, I can't help but wrinkle my nose a bit. Eklund, Smith, and Celebrini, they've been netting a few but their plus-minus stats are a sea of red. Ducks' diaper dandies like Carlsson, McTavish, and Gauthier, on the other hand, are making a splash both in terms of goals and assists, and that plus-minus column, folks, it's glimmering.

Looking at the history books, you'd see that the Ducks have been absolute shark-hunters. In their past meetings, it's always been the Sharks going home with shorter fins. Taking a peek at both teams' season records reinforces this narrative. Although the Sharks had a few good punches thrown here and there, their overall record is a bumbling mess compared to the Ducks, who seem to be keeping things nice and steady.

Let's not forget about recent showings. With the exception of a fluke win against Toronto, the Sharks seem to be stuck in the shallow end whilst our Ducks, despite a few hiccups, are acquitting themselves decently, keeping their heads above water.

So, if you're looking to ludically engage on this game, the outcome should be as clear as a polished ice rink.
