Pop open the popcorn and warm up your bets, folks— we've got a thrilling NHL face-off between the Seattle Kraken and the Vancouver Canucks coming your way. Now, if we're going to add a little color to this, we can't ignore the titanic tussle we have seen between these two teams in the past. Cast your gaze back: the Kraken took the Canucks to the cleaners with a 6-3 victory in early March. However, Canucks didn’t stay behind and composed themselves only to take down the Kraken in January. But the Kraken seem to have had slightly more of an edge historically.
Let's focus on our seasonal stalwarts now, starting with the goalie situation. The Kraken have a trusty net protector in Joey Daccord, boasting an impressive season save percentage of 92.8%. Philipp Grubauer is another one pulling his weight nicely with 87.6% throughout the season.
