The Timberwolves, boasting a record of 46 wins and 32 losses this season, are a force to be reckoned with. Their leading force, Anthony Edwards, has been nothing short of sensational last month, pulling an average of 27.2 points per game - (I'm sure the Bucks defense are having nightmares as we speak). Alongside Anthony, we have Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert who have been elbowing their way through opponents with their steadfast performances in the last month.
Making their stand against the Timberwolves, the Milwaukee Bucks, with a slightly rocky regular season record of 44-34 are not to be taken lightly. The Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo has been making his presence known with an impressive average of 29.7 points last month. Trailblazing his way along Giannis is Damian Lillard, with a solid 20.7 points per game average last month. The Bucks are certainly not a team lacking firepower.
A look into the past tells us that their matchups have been tightly contested, but the Timberwolves have had the upper hand. The recollection of the recent results suggests Minnesota might have better momentum swooping into this game.
With all that on the board, I've got to say, getting the equal of Giannis and Damian is no easy feat but the Timberwolves have a commendable lineup and their recent form has been fantastic, plus they seem to have a knack for taming the Bucks.
