The Bulls have been bringing the heat with ace player Coby White, who has thrown in some serious buckets last month with a whopping 28.2 points per game. Let's not forget about Josh Giddey, who's been having a field day on the court with both his rebound and assist game.
On the other hand, the Hornets aren't exactly sitting idle. LaMelo Ball has been Ball-ing hard this season with an impressive 25.2 points per game. His mate Miles Bridges isn't a slouch either with 20.6 points per game this season.
Our history books tell us a bit of a toss-up story with the past match-ups between these two. Looks like the Bulls had a slight edge recently, but we all know what they say about past performance and future results.
Now, looking at the regular seaon records, it's clear as day that the Bulls have been faring better, with 35 wins as opposed to the Hornet's 19. And let's just say that being #9 in the Eastern Conference beats being #14 when it comes to recent standings.
The recent game results also lean in favor of the Bulls, showing a stronger performance overall compared to the Hornets. Makes one wonder if the Hornets' stinger isn't quite as sharp this season.
