Golden State Warriors by 7Wipe those eye glasses and straighten out your ties, or don't, as we're diving into the clash between Golden State Warriors and Phoenix Suns. Now, Golden State has been hitting the hardwood like a mean storm lately. With an impressive array of talent including the ever-dexterous Steph Curry, who's been dropping 24.7 points a game and gathering more than a handful of rebounds and assists, they've been tough to bounce. Jimmy Butler and young Brandin Podziemski have also been valiant warriors for, uh, the Warriors.
On the other side, the Suns, despite having a dimmer season, are no pushovers. Devin 'nothing-but-net' Booker has been a colossal figure on the court, laying about 26 points per match on opponents like hot gravy on mashed potatoes. They're also blessed to have Kevin Durant in the fray, who's been consistent as an atomic clock, delivering around 25.5 points a game.
Now, let’s not get blindsided here. If we take a walk down memory lane, the Suns, surprisingly, haven't faded out against their Bay Area rivals. With 3 wins from their last 5 encounters against the Warriors, they’ve proven they can trip up the giants.
The Warriors though, across the regular season, have shown better steadiness, boasting a 46-32 record over the Suns' 35-43. They also rank 6th in the conference standings, while the Suns are languishing at 11th. And, oh boy, don't even get me started on their recent forms - the Suns need SPF 500 to shield against the scorching heat the Warriors have been lately, winning their last five matches 'en flambe'.
Anywho, we're here for predictions, aren't we? Considering the data bestowed upon my humble self, I reckon the Warriors from the Golden State have a slight edge and should outshine the Suns.
