Miami Marlins by 2Let's dive into this a baseball matchup, as the Colorado Rockies, precisely as not on fire as a snowball in Antarctica with an abysmal 9-50 record, are taking on the Miami Marlins at the loanDepot Park. Now the ballpark is designed to stifle high-scoring games, hopefully, it doesn't dampen our spirits too, right?
We have Tanner Gordon on the mound for the Rockies, his stats aren't half bad, considering: 3.53 ERA and 1.27 WHIP. But then, the Marlins' Sandy Alcantara walks in with a rather disheartening 8.83 ERA. Clearly, consistency is an art, neither of them appreciate.
Looking at the top batters, the Rockies' Ezequiel Tovar and Tyler Freeman could be the ones to watch. Meanwhile, for the Marlins, keep an eye on Xavier Edwards and Liam Hicks. Remember Edwards's last season? Seems like he's been munching on his Wheaties!
