First up, the man on the mound for the Cardinals is Miles Mikolas. Although he's been struggling a bit this season with a 6.00 ERA and 1.60 WHIP, he's still got some tricks up his sleeve. He's going up against the Reds' very own Brady Singer, who’s been performing better with a 3.32 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP. Plenty of heat throwing action to look forward to.
Now, let's talk about those swinging the lumber for each side. The Cardinals have Brendan Donovan and Lars Nootbaar, both having decent seasons, but nothing particularly mind-blowing. On the other side of the field, Noelvi Marte and Gavin Lux of the Reds are stepping up to the plate, and boy have they been making contact. Do keep an eye on Lux's numbers, pretty impressive stuff for the last month.

The regular season records also side with the Reds leading 16-13 while the Cardinals are trailing behind with 12-17. Add the home park advantage, and it seems the odds are stacking up against the Cardinals.
