My Prediction
Seattle Mariners by 2Alright, sports fans, gear up for another gripping baseball face-off. It's Los Angeles Angels heading into bat-tle at T-Mobile Park against the Seattle Mariners. The park tends to play backup for the pitching crew, so this might not be the slugfest that every home-run-happy fan is hoping for.
The mound men for the day are Jack Kochanowicz for the Angels and Bryce Miller for the Mariners. Miller's numbers are somewhat tastier as compared to Kochanowicz's. His 4.41 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and 9.2 K/9 from his five appearances outshine Kochanowicz's stats from his equal number of outings.
In the batter's box, the Angels' pack is led by Zachary Neto, with his somewhat decent .294 batting average, and the power hitter, Mike Trout, who despite having a batting average of .173, has knocked 9 out of the park.
On the Mariners' side, Jorge Polanco and Cal Raleigh have been swatting the baseball with some conviction. Polanco carries a hefty .338 batting average alongside Raleigh's 10 home runs which definitely adds a punch to their roster.
Historically, their previous meetings have been pretty nip and tuck, making it anyone's game. Still, with the Mariners having a slightly more comfortable win-loss ratio in the regular season, they'll feel a tad more confident.
The Angels have fallen prey to a bit of a slump recently, much to their fans' dismay. The Mariners, on the other hand, have showcased some terrific games lately, sending some tough competitors packing.
Taking everything into account, Seattle sounds like the safer horse to back here.
