Tommy Paul in straight setsSarcastically dusting off the crystal ball here to look into the not-so-distant future as we've got a can’t-miss matchup between Marcos Giron and Tommy Paul.
Rewind a bit, and we all might remember how Paul did a bit of a number on Giron, treating him with less respect than a dollar store racquet. It was a straight-set beatdown that likely left Giron mumbling unpleasant things to himself in the gymnasium for days.
If we do a little time hopping to the present, it appears that Paul has continued his streak of dominance in the recent records. One slight snag being a loss to Shapovalov, but let's just say Shapovalov probably had to call his chiropractor after carrying that level of tennis.
