Tabilo in 3 sets.Alright, lads and lasses, let's break some hearts and probably your trust in my judgement as we peek into the round of 64 match-up at the BNP Paribas Open. Let's have some fun with this, shall we?
First up, we have the unseeded Dusan Lajovic. Ah, Dusan. Running hot and cold like an indecisive shower. He managed to put away Li Tu and Popko in recent matches but fell apart against Tien, Džumhur and Zverev, like a flan in a cupboard. Bit like my last relationship, really.
Then we've got the man with a ranking, Alejandro Tabilo. He might be seeded 30, but his recent form could be compared to an unsalted pretzel - underwhelming and leaving a bitter taste. He was overcome by Coria, Tseng, Djere, Baena, and Basavareddy. But hey, some people still like pretzels, right?
With the payout data twinkling in my brain like the distant lights of Vegas, and keeping in mind the playoff twist, I've made my judgment.
Call me a bloke with a risky taste but I'm going to put my faith into another bitter taste by predicting Tabilo to go through.
