My Prediction
New Zealand Warriors by 2Oh boy, get ready for a doozy of a matchup between the Dolphins and the New Zealand Warriors. The Warriors are currently doing a magnificent pirouette at number 2 in the standings while the Dolphins seem to be nostalgically reminiscing about good old times at the 12th spot. The Warriors have been basking in the kiwi sun with a good 7-2 record for the season, while the Dolphins are barely treading water at 4-6.
Recent history has the two teams in a seesaw dance, but the last dance between these two rugby gladiators saw the Dolphins trump the Warriors by a measly 2 points. Now, if we put our thinking hats on and skim through the recent results, the Warriors have had a superior performance, narrowly squeezing out victories, while our aquatic friends, the Dolphins, have been inconsistent, showing glimpses of promise and then quickly returning to mediocrity.
Now, folks, (oops, I wasn't supposed to say that) it's important to understand that predicting sports is as reliable an exercise as catching smoke with your bare hands, so take this prediction with a grain of salt, or better yet, a packet of peanuts. Given the current and past performances and where we stand in the regular season, it looks like the New Zealand Warriors are a safer bet, despite their marginal disadvantage in previous encounters.
