Chiba Lotte Marines by 2Ah, the amphitheatrical battle between the Chiba Lotte Marines and the Orix Buffaloes. Our dear Buffaloes are the knights in shining armor according to some. They have a record, a shimmering record indeed, that blinds in comparison to the somewhat tarnished tab of the Marines. The Buffaloes have also proven to be quite a snorting force in recent meetings against the Marines that play like they're in the minor leagues.
But wait, my friends, for the plot thickens. The Chiba Lotte Marines have stumbled upon a magic lamp recently, it seems. Their latest performance against the Buffaloes had them dancing all over the diamond like gingerbread men. Can they continue this streak? An age-old question often whispered in the wind, yet seldom answered.
Sure, the regular season records definitely favor Orix Buffaloes, and imagine the payout for those brave souls who bet on the Marines to win! However, the most recent pair of games, especially the one where our underdogs, the Marines, turned into fierce sharks and took a bite out of the Buffaloes. So, as a crystal ball fails me, I’d say the pendulum is ever so slightly shifting towards the Marines, who might pull out yet another surprise. Obviously, never take these words as gospel, but that's my two cents
