Look at this! The Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks and Chunichi Dragons are on a collision course again. nostalgia, right? Ah, well, let's not get carried away, let's stick to the data.
The last three matchups between these squads have been somewhat mixed. Tracing back to mid-2024, the Dragons managed to squirm past the Hawks by just one run on two occasions. Yet the Hawks got a hold of themselves and retaliated with a comfortable 5-1 triumph in the second game. Quite the tug of war, wouldn't you say?
The Dragons lag behind in their regular season record with 23 wins and 26 losses, just a hair's breadth away from the Hawks' record of 24 wins and 24 losses; really, it could go any way. As for recent results, our Dragons have been a bit of a revelation, I must say, chalking up 4 victories in their last 5 outings.
