My Prediction
I hope you're all ready for an exciting Nippon Professional Baseball showdown. Now, we're taking a look at the fabulous Hanshin Tigers and the modest Yokohama DNA BayStars. It's like watching a tiger fight a mutated microorganism, really!
Let's take a little trip down memory lane, shall we? The Tigers have had a leisurely stroll through the jungle with the BayStars recently. With 3 of their last 5 battles seeing the Tigers roar to victory. Though on the flipside, we did witness a thrilling 6-6 draw, so the BayStars aren't exactly pushovers.
Regular season, we see the Tigers with a 20-14 record, keeping their stripes sharp, while the BayStars end at a flatline 16-16. Now, someone might say it’s balanced, others might say it’s mediocrity personified.
Now, forgive me if I bring up recent painful memories but the Tigers have been doing pretty well recently. Bagging wins against Chunichi Dragons, twice! I'm sure that was quite the sweet victory for the Tigers. On the other hand, BayStars managed to carve out a couple of wins too. But we all remember high school, don't we? Two may be company, but three is definitely a crowd and that's something the BayStars fall short on.
But hey, who knows what the world of baseball has in store for us? Nobody, that's who. But for the love of my paycheck, I’m supposed to make a guess - so here's Albert's Prediction:
