Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks by 1Oh listen to this folks--whoops, I mean--tighten those laces, we've got Saitama Seibu Lions going beak to snout with the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks. Smells like popcorn and inevitable disappointment if you ask me.
Saitama appears to be on a bit of a bad luck streak, and by "bit" I mean, they've had more stumbles than a newborn calf recently - winless in their last four matches. To provide some perspective, the Hawks haven't exactly been soaring either with their only win in the last five games. An uplifting portrayal of professional baseball, wouldn't you agree?
Looking at the history between these juggernauts of mediocrity, though, things become... well, still quite unpredictable. In their last five matchups, Saitama has edged out Fukuoka three times, but let's not make too much of it - their meetings have been close, with a run margin as tight as my last year's pants after quarantine.
