Yomiuri Giants by 3Mighty oh mighty, our arena sets the scene for Hanshin Tigers and Yomiuri Giants, and let me tell ya, the energy is as electric as my grandmother's shock collar.
The Hanshin Tigers have been conducting a masterclass on A Guide to Losing Gracefully. A recent bout with the BayStars saw them barely able to claw a draw and their rendezvous with the Hiroshima Carp quite aptly describes how it went - they sunk. They'll be holding onto their one sliver of victory against the Giants from last September like retreating soldiers gripping their last ration.
Meanwhile, Yomiuri Giants have started the season with a vigor comparable to my post-diet cheat day. Giants flattening the Chunichi Dragons, displaying both sturdy defense and aggressive offense. Didn't they barely squash the Tigers last year? Yes, but history does have a way of repeating itself - just look at my second marriage!
