Oh, what a treat we've got on our hands tonight, sports fans! The Seattle Kraken sail into Utah looking for another win after spanking San Jose and Vancouver. Seattle's pretty lucky to have dual threats in net, Joey Daccord and Philipp Grubauer, both guys are stingier than a tight-fisted banker. Daccord's able to stop a sneeze at ninety paces with his 92.9% season save percentage, and Grubauer, while a little lower at 87.6%, isn't exactly giving away goals like free samples at the grocery store.
On the ice, Seattle brings a potent ensemble of players; Jared McCann and Andre Burakovsky leading the way - or maybe it's Adam Larsson, the man's been a wall this season with a plus-minus of +21. Schwartz and Montour might not have the best plus-minus, but they're adding more whip-cream and cherries to Seattle's offensive sundae.
Utah's certainly got a fight on their hands tonight. Their goalies, Vejmelka and Stauber, are decent, but not exactly setting the world on fire. However, Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz do add some spice to the soup with Keller’s incredible 26 goals and 55 assists. Utah's also churning out some solid play by Logan Cooley despite the team’s relatively disappointing recent home runs.
Looking back at some late-night reruns, Seattle has typically had the upper hand when these two teams meet, adding in their recent performance and Utah's dodgy form, it's not looking good for the home side.
So, drum roll please...
