Now, reminiscing is a bit painful, at least for Buffalo, as they've been on the short end of the stick in recent duels against the Leafs. What's that you say? Regular season records? Well, the Leafs outperform the Sabres, boasting 50 wins to Buffalo's 35. As they say, a winning habit is hard to break.

Latest performances? The Leafs took on the Montréal Canadiens and left them hiccuping donuts. The Sabres, however, beat the Carolina Hurricanes but then skated into two consecutive defeats. Tough luck, boys!

As much as I’d love a Cinderella story, or a raging comeback for variety, my shiny crystal ball sees the high-flying Leafs cruising over Buffalo.
