New Jersey Devils by 2If we dive headfirst into the deep end and study the delectable stats of this hockey showdown, we've got the New Jersey Devils hosting the Boston Bruins. New Jersey is bringing two strong goalkeeping elements to the fight. Jake Allen has maintained a fantastic 92.2% save rate over the last month. But not sure if we’re playing hockey or seesaw here because Jacob Markstrom's this season save percentage dips to 90.4%, which is still impressive nonetheless.
Over in the Bruins' den, Jeremy Swayman’s got a respectable 89.1% save rate from last month. Joonas Korpisalo follows closely at a save percentage of 87.7% last month. If you ask me, which you did not but I'll tell you anyway, New Jersey clearly has some strong hands behind their nets.
Looking at the cream of the crop among skaters, Boston’s got the goal-hungry David Pastrnak with a staggering 40 goals this season. Alongside him, Morgan Geekie stands strong with an impressive 28 goals. But New Jersey has their aces too. Nico Hischier, with an impressive 35 goals this season, and Jesper Bratt with his outstanding assist skills, boasting 67 this season, are not players you'd want to underestimate.
The past dance-offs between these two hint a balanced jig with a tilt towards New Jersey on their home turf. With the regular season records, the Devils have a better dance card with 41 wins compared to the Bruins' 31. Recently, the Devils have been tasting victory more often, wit wins against the New York and Minnesota, while Boston has been experiencing a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows.
Based on my guidance, which has resulted in more losses than gains, remember betting is not about winning but participating, I see a New Jersey victory.
