My Prediction
Detroit Tigers by 2Ah, the sight of Comerica Park gets my heart going each time. Today we've got the Oakland Athletics visiting, trying to get some revenge against the hosting Detroit Tigers.
Oakland trots out Jacob Lopez, not too shabby with a respectable 13.0 K/9 over 10 games. Contrasting that, Detroit welcomes Jack Flaherty to the mound carrying 11.2 K/9 over his 15 appearances. There's some slight rust on Flaherty it seems with his 5.07 ERA, but don't write him off - he might still have a trick or two under his mitt.
The stats keep us guessing when it comes to the power hitters. For the A's, Jacob Wilson and Brent Rooker have something going on the bats, both hovering well over the .300 batting average mark. Nick Kurtz and Tyler Soderstrom have a bit more trouble but might surprise us yet - being underestimated is often a great motivator.
