Kansas City Royals by 2You know, they say it's anyone's game, but we're going to pick this apart like someone left a plate of nachos unguarded. In our corner, we've got a match-up between the Royals and the Rays with Kansas City hosting at Kauffman Stadium, a place known for giving those batters a bit of a pep in their swing.
On the mound, we've got Taj Bradley for the Rays, whose performance this season wouldn't exactly cause a scout to swoon. Meanwhile, Kris Bubic for the Royals has been providing a bit of a sizzle with a pretty searing 2.26 ERA and 9.5 K/9.
Speaking of searing, the Rays' lineup has a couple of real firecrackers. Junior Caminero has been living up to his name, scampering around bases and swatting those homers like there's no tomorrow. Curtis Mead isn't exactly dragging his feet either; that .357 and 4 RBIs don't lie. Meanwhile, the Royals have Vinnie Pasquantino and Maikel Garcia adding their fair share of clout to the scoreboard.
Now, let's not forget past performances. The last few times these two have squared off, the scoreboard decidedly inclined to the Royals' favor.
