My Prediction
Seattle Mariners by 2Here we are folks, we’ve got a good ballgame coming. The Detroit Tigers are set to take on the Seattle Mariners at the T-Mobile Park, a haven for pitchers to bribe their way to victory. Jackson Jobe, from Tigers’ dugout, will be taking charge on the mound. With a mediocre last season, he seemed to have found his stride this season...although he appears to have taken an extended vacation during the playoffs. We aren’t sure if he’ll get the magic back today.
Fluttering in from the other side we have Emerson Hancock. His last season saw a few runs given away with room for improvement this season. Let's see if he can step up his game.
Turning our attention to the batter's box, the Tigers have some impressive performers. Manuel Margot has been on fire with an amazing batting average, while both Spencer Torkelson and Gleyber Torres have been sending balls into the fan's gloves. However, the Mariners have Jorge Polanco, whose batting average currently challenges Margot's. Dylan Moore and Julio Rodriguez, though they've yet to really shine, bring some hope to the table as well.
Looking back at the history between these two teams, the Tigers seem to have the upper paw, taking majority of their recent encounters. However, the Mariners, with their balanced win-loss record this season, might have some surprises up their sleeves. Meanwhile, the Tigers have been in a bit of a slump recently. We are yet to see if they can turn this skid around.
With the Mariners favored in this game, I must say Seattle will tame those Tigers today. Take it to the bank, or to whatever gambling institution you frequent.
