Keys in straight sets.Ah, the sweet smell of a real contest in the air. We have our eyes on yet another dramatic chapter of the Diana Shnaider versus Madison Keys epic saga, being written here at Queen's Club Championships.
Madison Keys, folks, always the bridesmaid in her encounters with Shnaider. It's that old acquaintance, the Number 2 tournament seed, that has done remarkably well in recent times. With a string of convincing recent victories, it's like she's trying to make those tennis balls her personal pen pals. The last time Shnaider and Keys met, oh it was anything but love for Shnaider, with Keys dominating on the court.
On the other side of the net, we have Shnaider. Now, don't get me wrong, Shnaider being seed 5 deserves some respect, but it does seem like she's required to tap dance uphill both ways in this matchup. Her recent performances have been a mixed bag; throw enough tennis balls in the air, and you’ll catch some, right?
In light of their past encounters and recent momentum, it's looking like a tough day at the office for Shnaider. Throw in that tournament seed for good measure and it could get grim. But hey, surprises happen. An ice cold lemonade can turn out to be a flame grilled chicken sandwich. Wait, what? Nevermind.
