Houston Cougars by 28So, let's dive into this damnable contest, shall we? We're looking at the Houston Cougars, ranked 15th and sitting nicely with a 7-3 record. They've been making their opponents whimper with their kitty claws which include Emanuel Sharp and LJ Cryer who have proven they’re not just Ferbies in the basketball jungle with their, 16.1 and 15.6 points per game respectively in the last month. They even smacked the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders around like a ball of yarn in their past matchup.
On the other side of the half-court line, we’ve got the Texas A&M Corpus Christi Islanders lounging comfortably in their picturesque coastal paradise with a respectable 7-5 record. Their top players Garry Clark and Isaac Williams have been making saltwater taffy out of their opponents' defence, 14.5 and 6.7 points on average in their last month, respectively.
Looking at their recent performances, Houston has been draining more buckets than a county fair ring toss stall. The Islanders, however, have been playing like they're afraid of spilling their piña coladas - but have shown a few moments of sheer brilliance, like turning the Southwestern Adventist Knights and Prairie View A&M Panthers into pincushions.
