We can't forget Cli'Ron Hornbeak either - man sure knows his way around the court.
Now, on the opposite corner, we got Alabama Crimson Tide, the giant, the clichéd big fish. They’ve got an impressive record of 9-2 and are blessed with exceptional players who know how to ball. Mark Sears, anyone? Netting 21.5 points per game last month, the man's shot is as accurate as a weather forecast - dreary, I know. Grant Nelson isn't bad either, subpar maybe - managing 12.3 points and over 9 rebounds per game. In fact, let’s throw Labaron Philon in the mix as well - an 11-point per game guy, enough to make some noise.
Looking at their recent games, Kent State managed to defeat Mercyhurst Lakers like an easy checkmate. On the other hand, Alabama narrowly defeated North Dakota Fighting Sioux, like a game of tug-of-war where the Crimson Tide had the fatty on their side.
Finally, let's talk about rankings - Albert's favorite bedtime story. The Crimson Tide swells at number 6 in the country while our Golden Flashes apparently forgot to make themselves known to the Associated Press. A David and Goliath scenario, but do remember - this ain't the bible.
