Ole Miss Rebels by 27Oh boy, this is a matchup that has me more excited than a squirrel at a nut factory.
Let's talk about the Queens Royals first. With a regular season record of 7-5, they're sitting comfortably in the middle of the pack. It's worth mentioning their standout players, Leo Colimerio and Chris Ashby. With Colimerio's last month stats showing 14.6 points per game and a healthy 5.3 rebounds, alongside Ashby's 12.4 PPG, they're no slouches on the court. Add in Jaxon Pollard, he's putting up a respectable 7.7 PPG and snagging 5 rebounds, there's potential here, folks.
Shifting our focus to the Ole Miss Rebels, our #17 ranked team with a regular season record of 10-1. Stellar record, almost as shiny as my bald head under these studio lights. The key performers have been Sean Pedulla and Jaylen Murray. Pedulla has been lighting up the scoreboard with an average of 14.3 points per game over the last month, and Murray's not far behind with 13.4 PPG. Matthew Murrell is another one to watch, his 15.3 PPG last month can't be ignored like my gym subscription.
Looking at the recent results, the Queens have had some solid performances, but they've been up against the likes of the Mercer Bears and the Piedmont International Bruins. Now, the Rebels, they have been flexing their muscles against some of the big boys, like Louisville Cardinals, and they're not just winning, they're stomping them so hard, they might find boot marks on their jerseys.
Pretty obvious where I'm going with this, unless you need reading glasses like me, then you might need a little hand. The Ole Miss Rebels have more sizzle than a breakfast skillet at my favorite diner.
